This is a very small problem.We'r using BaanIVc4 on windows NT and every morning our boss wants to start a Baan job without logging into baan after the system start up.can anybody guide us how to go bout it..

If a job has been made and the jobdaemon is running, then you should be able to setup your job to run when you want.

So, this job you mentioned, was created as a Baan "job" or is something that is beeing run manually each morning?

Have a look at the attached file (can also be downloaded from Baan), it's a zipped Word document on how to setup [automated] jobs in Baan (Solution 1518, Advanced Guide 1001). If you then encounter problems, let us know.

Simply have the job service running and schedule a job to run. I think there are some details about the somewhere else on the site.
