Hi,

Is it possible to kill particular hanged user.When i try to kill it gives message unknown processid.Is there any other way to kill the hanges logins instead of shutting licence server

In the past I have used the tool below to see which Baan processes are created by which user.

The tool is called Process Explorer, in case the link above doesn't work properly.

It doesn't clear the baan licence for that bshell though so you'll have to restart the licence service to do that

From the description of the problem it seems that you're trying to remove a "hung" license, not kill a user.. (no bshell, but licmon6.1 -u shows a user there.)

you do that via licmon6.1 -c delivered in (i believe 6.1c.07 porting set)

Hi,
Licmon has a command clean, which would clear all the unused or struk licences.
I don't think you need to restart the licence server

Freeing up licenses has been discussed several times, search the Tools administration & installation threads with keywords: free license
Read the threads, they will amnswer your question and give you some background information about the license daemon.
