After setting up a new report with a custom font so that all perfectly fits well, I export the registry to all users. While users have the ability to change the font, they will not hessitate to do so. Things will look fine day one, but on day two there will be a description with a lot of w or m letters in it, and the line will no longer fit on the paper.
How can I disable the ability to change the font setting s for the individual users?
Please help. I spent too much time running around saving ignorent users, and they will not learn to keep their hands off.

You can modify the access rights of the clients registry, so the user can only read his settings but not change it.

Yes, here is it:

Registry of local client:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
Baan
bwprint
Fonts

change security of Folder 'Fonts' to read-only and the user will never ever be able to change a font permanently

Dear Viplov,

There is no security setting for Registry available at OS level. It is only possible by using small utilities that block the application, files etc in OS.
