Hello all

Does anyone know which is the difference between the command date and command date6.2 from bshell..??

Does this two values must be the same value??

My company is only in one country...
My user has timezone AMERICA/BOGOTA.

If I launch date timezone is: SAT

What does it means variable $TZ??

I have got problem with my job backup data and I think that it can be by this situation.

If I set one job by BaaN hour and with any user with timezone AMERICA/BOGOTA and the system value (UNIX) has timezone SAT, at what time the job is executed?? system time?? baan time?? UTC time??

Best regards,
Thanks in advance.
ArĂstides.

Check this thread (search on "timezone" to get more) that has a good explanation on timezones: http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7509&highlight=timezone+user

Unless you set a specific timezone for your job user, he will be using the one defined on the server. Your problem may be that you use a diferent user to define the jobs and another one to start them that have different timezones defined?

Your profile mentions BaanIVc but you mention bshell6.2 in the post, please update your profile with the correct version(s).
