When I tried to run any session in Tools--> Application development, I got a message
"Unknown Package VRC"
I just installed Baan Vc, Installed Service Pack 1 & 2 and localization 2.0. Also installed demp companies and demp tables.
I have also creted new Package for localization.
What else required to establish the environment for development, yes I want make this server only for the development and testing.
Thanks in Advance

Use the session "ttadv0140m000" to add the current PVRC for the account.

Yes, I tried this session to assign the package VRC to the account, but it gives the message
"You have no authorized to cahnge the standard"
I login into the systems by the user "baan", a super user.
Where I can get this authorization.
Thanks in advance

You need to set your "development" VRC to a VRC you can modify. i.e. your production VRC level. e.g. something like B50C_c_prd
or whatever you created.

Developers are typically authorized to change to Package VRCs in ttadv0141m000. I do not think you can authorize anyone to change the Baan standard VRC. So changing to the standard VRC gets the error you mentioned - You have no authorization to change the standard. At our company we are only authorized for company created packages/VRC combinations. Not sure why you would want to change standard. I recommend copying to a development VRC and then attempting changes. Just my thought.

Yes, Mark is right; noone is supposed to be authorized to change the standard. You need to create a new vrc, derived from the standard, which will be your development vrc. For any change you want to make on the standard, you first copy the standard component to your package vrc, and then apply your modifications in your own development layer.

Hi, all
Mark and en, I tried out your suggestions but still I am in problem.
I tried to create an new VRC as you suggested, but its again problem, give the same message
"You have no authorization to change the standard"
What the hell is going on, how could I establish a new development environment?
I am not able to create a new VRC, not able to change the development VRC, not able to start a sessions in Application Development menu
Any resolution
Thanks in advance
Mahmood
