My current setup on Baan IVc4 is not creating the log file. Can anyone suggest how to enable logging.

Check permissions on $BSE/log

should be bsp:bsp -rw-rw-rw-

Also, what's your $BSE? if its too long, it might overflow baan's internal array for the logfile..
You'd need to log a case with Baan support for help with that.

I am using Windows OS on my server. I could notice other log files like log.reconfig, log.error are created and log for ntbshell is not created.

Hi,

as far as i know Baan on windows uses the eventlog of windows to log ntbshell messages. Start your eventviewer (eventvwr) and look in the application log.

You can filter on Source = Baan and catagory = BShell
