Hai gurus,
I am installing Baan server on my laptop. I dont have validation key,Can I crack it ? If it is how. How to run the system with out validation key ?

is it possible to do that? i thought the validation key given by baan was unique per MAC address .. or not ? :)

There is not a "crack" for the license manager. If you are on a corporate network, you should be able to use an existing license server. Just point to it in your ${BSE}/lib/licence6.2 file.

This is not a crack, but an intended feature from Baan in case you have several application servers or a high availibility setup.

There are ways to circumvent the licence subject in Baan, but I do not regard it as proper to be discussed on this forum. I also do not think, that this is in the interest of the forum providors.

I am not holy on this, but if you have a legetimate need for Baan, then either buy it or talk with them about a test installation.

You can always run it as a demo for (i believe) 90 days.
