Hello,
where in Baan is the location of the program scripts defined?
I.e. When clinking view/edit script in ttadv2530m000, Baan goes searching for the script in the defined directory for scripts (usually {BSE}/application).
Kind regards,

${BSE}/application/<package><VRC>/p<package><module>/p<module><code><variant>
i.e. ${BSE}/application/tdB50_b/ptdsls/psls45000

Han, you misunderstood me, I asked where this path is DEFINED. I.e. where is the setting that tells Baan to look under ${BSE}/application.
I know in Baan you define the directories paths via session ttadv1115m000. When I look for Tools, the directories are defined correctly, yet when I tab on one of the multi-occ fields, like 'forms', 'menus', 'program scripts' etc. it gives me a message "create directory .......?" yet of course when I look on the server the directory is available on the correct location.
Please note: this is a new server. We made an exact copy of the system and database on a different server, onto this new server.
Any clues??

Fd6.1 for ur package combination in $BSE/lib tells where the programs script lies . Does this help.

I think Baan doesn't recognize the server-name or bse to start with. When I try to create a new program script (ttadv2130m000), I get the following messages: first "create directory ES7000B!${BSE}?" then when hitting yes: "Cannot create ES7000B!${BSE}". and then a message "cannot create ES7000B!${BSE}/application/etc the path.. (error 0)".

Thanks Hitesh,
But the directories ARE correct in fd6.2, as follows:
mtt:${BSE}\tools/ttB50_b
ftt:${BSE}\tools/ttB50_b
ott:${BSE}\tools/ttB50_b
ptt:${BSE}/application/ttB50_b
rtt:${BSE}/tools/ttB50_b
itt:${BSE}/application/ttB50_b
dtttxt001:/dd
dtt:${BSE}/tools/dd
e:/dd

1. IS the server ES7000B different from logic current server.
2. Have u defined this as systems in ttaad0150m000 if different.
3. Have u done remote user setup if it's a different server.

It looks like that BSE_REM is defined since it asks for <hostname>!${BSE}...
Please check that and if set unset it and try again.

Han

Indeed Han, the BSE_REM was set. It was solved already yesterday, but forgot to mention it on the board; sorry for that.
This installation was a logic installation only, not full, because the whole ${BSE}/baan directory was copied directly from the other server, so we only needed the logic services etc. Baan then automatically sets the BSE_REM parameter. After removing the registry entry, it works fine.
Thanks all for the input!

En.
