Hi,
I have validated my Baan Server, Baan IV c 4.
Immediately after validating it I could log on to Baan and work.
Now after restarting the server I could not log on to Baan. It gives me Error 515 (License Error; Probably Unmatched binary).

Someone please help me.

Does the licensing service run in Baan Nt Manager?
Do you have a process called "licd" in your process list?

Yeah.
licensing service is running and licd is also present in the process list.

Check the version of your bshell vs the verson of your driver, its (most likely) complaining that those are out of sync.

Hi,

Acc. to me the error sounds:
515 ELICENSEERROR License error; unpatched binary.

Are you able to log in as user ROOT?
Then probably you should run ttiex3220m000 Validate Tool set.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies.
My problem got solved. The validation key recieved had some data mismatch. On changing the From Date and To Date in Maintain Requested System Configuration, problem got solved.

Hi All,
Whenever I restart the server I am facing this Error 515 (License error; unpatched binary) all again.

I could resolve it using a work around :

->Stop the Shared Memory Service, Logic Service, License Service.
->Start Shared Memory Service and Logic Service.
->Log on to Baan, then start License Service.

It's seems to be a good work around. But trouble is the demo license expires in 2 days..!!

Can anyone suggest a permanent solution ?

After getting into the demo mode do not start the licensing service.Rather close the baan login and then restart the licensing service and login again.

It worked for me.
