When running ba6.1 from one of our application servers we receive the following error message :

Baan has been started on the server and shared memory is loaded.

We have recently upgraded this environment to the following configuration : BaanIVc on porting set 6.1c.07, AIX 5.2 and Oracle 9i.

If 'ba6.1' is run as 'root' and it works OK with another user that has been created on locally on the app server. So... at the moment we think this may be indicating a problem with using NIS+ users. Has anyone experienced anythin similar to this ?
