Hi all
I am installing baan on win2k. and my database server is oracle9i on linux. i have installed oracle9i client on my win2k server. it is working fine...getting connected to oracle. but when i am installing baan it is asking me to create a new data base on my win2k server. it is not detecting the linix server. or not showing the databases on linux server. I am in a great problem.

The installer is very stupid, it always create the database in local, no way to create the database remotelly because the installer always check paths in local machine.

So you should create the instance, the database, tablespaces an so on and configure the sql-net in your windows to connect to that, choose then that instance from the installer an see if you can do something.....or not?!
