Dear All

I am installing BaanIVc4 on Windows Server 2000 and MSSQL 2000 on a laptop. Almost at the end of the installation, I got an error that cant able to lock the table (error 514). So I tried through bdppost after setting up the BSE.

Command - %BSE%\bin\bdbpost -k -f -m -n -I e:\prefiles\comp000.pre -C000
e: is my cd drive.

Still the error exist. I had gone through many threads with the same error but all of them are oracle related.

Can any one help me to over come this problem?

Hi Rochus
Thanks, the problem got solved. I was having another Baan Master cd, which was not the latest one; I tried thru that cd and got Baan Installed.

With Regard to the earlier problem, I did not use the set command because I was following the Installation Document of Baan for MSSQL 2000. I carried out the same.

I guess, it is the problem of the cd only (version compatibility). Because I had installed BaanIVc4 on Oracle 9i (9.9.1.0.1) straight, it was smooth installation, but with the same cd I tried on MSSQL200 it did not. So I went with the earlier version.

Once again, thanks
