Is anybody using a baan solution call filterbgsb to prevent users accessing baan multiples times? According to the guide it is a replacement for ntbshell.exe.

"Purpose of fiterbgsb.exe is to control the users that can log in the baan. It allows to create groups of users and allow just a certain numbers of users of each group at a time. It allows to limit connections to 1 for each user."

Any comments or feed back would be welcome. Specifically will it work with IVc3?

Just curious, How can I get this EXE? I mean, Is it standard BaaN program or outside program?

The binary was posted here some time ago by some Baan employee, I think! So some search should reveal it.

the binary replaces the ntbshell only in respect to be executed first, checking the login constraints and than actually calling ntbshell.

I haven't tried it, but if it works with baan IVc4 then it will work with IVc3, because it has nothing got to do with the actuall application or even tools version.

Worth a try, I guess.

By the way, if you are a perl or bash (cygwin) hacker, than you can script something like this easily yourself.
