Hello,
I new to tolls and wuld like to know what these environment variables are and how do we st them up.also thers one problem im facing since our baan is newly installed when i try to debug a script i get a blank screen.It seems i cannot use the debugger .can anyuone plz help.

Could you be more specific regarding the variables?
I don't know if you are refering to all the environment variables for Baan, but the variables that must be set for Baan are:

BSE = path to you installation directory ending in the bse (eg, /opt/baan4/bse)
BSE_TMP = path to the temporary filesystem (eg, usually = $BSE/tmp)
PATH=$PATH:$BSE/bib (include the path to Baan binaries into the PATH)
Also, if in UNIX, TERM = vt100 for ascii session access

If u are not able to debug any sessions script or getting blank screen u can set it using session ttaad2105m000 (Maintain User Settings), here just check the "Debug Dipslay" to True, and then Convert to Runtime DD.
