When I export exchange, I would need to export the text data.

Does exchange export text data or just the text number?

) I misplaced my notes explaining what text coming into exchange should look like in the ascii file. Could someone send me the one liner.

The Baan Quick Guide QG1004 shows how to import multi-line text. I think you can do something similar to export. I'm sorry, I haven't done this in quite a while. You can search by "QG1004" on the support site for the doc or email me for a copy.

Both ways is possible, so you can either export the text number or you can export the complete text. This is defined in the definition of the ASCII file. If you specify field type as 'Numeric' the text number will be exported; if you specify this field as 'Multiline text' the text will be exported. For the import this works similar.
