I am trying to run execute "install demo tables" . nothing happens after i click on "Continue"?

its fresh baanc4/informix/Unix installation.

Any inputs ??

or is it someother way like bdbpre etc by which i can install tables of company 550?

If the session doesn't work, you can find the demo table dumps in the test directory and load them with bdbpre.

A lot of Baan installation consultants do it that way.

meant bdbpost obviously!

in my server, i have the following file after baan installation

in /baanc4/test I have the foll. directories:
cpB40_c4 tcB40_c4 tfB40_c4 tiB40_c4 trB40_c4 ttB40_c4
psB40_c4 tdB40_c4 tgB40_c4 tpB40_c4 tsB40_c4 tuB40_c4


and in each of the above directories i have two directories :
550 and 750

in 550 again thereis a directory 550

and in this 550 i have one file ti550.pre (huge size) and another directory test etc

so is it i will use bdbpost for each of the .pre? one by one to load data in 550?

that's how it works.

You can do some nifty things with the find command to avoid typing, but in principle the complete comapny is split up in several dumps!

Please execute session "install demo table" as soon you are finish with master CD.

It works for Baan V.
