I have loaded baan5.c on sql server7 and winNT.
I installed the demo tables for 902.
But many parameter sessions are not opening and it doesn't even give any message
I have put all the mandatory tables in Audit but still the sessions are not opening.
I have maintained the audit file directory as d:\baan5\audit in the ttaad4116m000 session. (Audit file directories) Is it OK?

Where the problem lies????

Pls check the tabledef6.X file and see whether audit is "yes" for all the required tables or not and also check the auditdef6.X file and see the directory name of Audit files are mentioned there or not ?

auditdef6.2 file shows *:*:d:\baan5\audit
Audit is On for all the mandatory tables in ttaad4111m000

ttaad4111m000 may or may not reflect the tabledef6.X file, and Baan only cares about the tabledef file.

better u check the tabledef6.X file in lib folder(os level) and check for the tables.

Yes. Audit was still N in the tabledef file. It is working after changing to Y for the mandatory tables. But ttaad4111m000 session should have updated the tabledef file. Somehow, here it was not doing that.

Can the user you are using to do the convert write to the file?

Srinivas,

This is one of the sessions that only puts data to file at the moment you run a convert to runtime. Please do this a user that has privilages to write the file (and backup the original file to tabledef6.x-).

Hope this helps,
Dick
