I am searching the way to “kill” inactive users/processes after a certain amount of time.

Does anybody know if BaaN IVc4 has this functionality?

Dear,
First I want to Know What porting set u r using.

If u r using Porting set 6.1c then do the following step

open BECS environment

go to BW configuration

go to BSHELL Environment

in the comman option write the following statement

-- - set SESSION_TIMEOUT=MIN
Note(MIN = Time after which Baan will close)
eg.
-- - set SESSION_TIMEOUT=10
Means If the user is inactive for ten min then his baan window will close

Do this &mail me back the result
