hi
i want to connect to baan through internet and my baan server is behind firewall. when i am trying to connect to the server it is giving me error of ipc_boot6.1 file.
any help....

Could you give the exact error message? And, any info in the log files? (Both firewall logs and Baan logs)

Connecting through the internet is extremely difficult if you want to use the normal Baan Windows client. Making the initial connection is not too hard (depending on your firewall) but the next problem is that time-outs occur, and the connection is lost. That's one of the reasons for the BaanIV Web client (http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10116). Also, have a look here (http://www.beest-boer.net/Delphi).

Opt for a terminalserver/terminal client setup where your terminal server is in your DMZ running a client on your local network. Via VPN you can reach your terminal server via the internet...
