has anyone run into a situation where the user may want to initially run a report and display it to the screen, then after validating the results, want to reprint it to a printer or file, but does not want to have to wait to re-run the report from the beginning again (especially for some reports that may take 5-10 minutes to run). The device queue, ttaad3520m000 enables the report to be reprinted, but we are looking for a way to enable the users to re-print but not have to give them access to tools sessions.

The users may choose the device "Printer" and select the option "Preview". In this way they can check the results. If they decide to print, it is very easy, right? Otherwise, they can close the bwprint.

You can also send it to a screen display like D and print one page, such as the total line by positioning yourself on the page you want to print and type Shift Explanation Point, it is a screen print utility.

I really forgot about this useful utility (exclamation mark which asks again for the device ), since I am not a user who prints reports in Baan. Or... am I getting old ???

Thanks for reminding !!!

thanks for the feedback - i think the preview option then print to printer will probably work best for them.

Your users can also reprint the report by using the 'Repeat Request' Option in 'Maintain Device Queue' session if they have access to tools sessions.
