Hi,

We are currently on Service Pack 6 on BaanC4

We are preparing to upgrade to SP8

Before we install the SPs, I want to find out the amount of customisations that will need to be modified

So, I scanned and checked solution to install for SP7

Now, I am wondering , can I do the same for SP8
to find any additional customisations that may be affected.
Are, do I need to install SP7 first??

Aidan,

Scanning the Service Pack should not be a problem, I think it is more a matter of whether you will be able to find which components were changed in SP8 on top of the SP7. I can picture that you will end up with a massive amount of solution numbers in the Process Solutions session. One thing you could possibly do to temporarily get rid of the SP7 solutions is to disconnect the SP7 solutions from your update VRC. And then reconnect them afterwards.

Doesn't the SP CD have an Excel Doc with the Components on it?
