Hi folks,

I know about the Master CD and Service Pack/Porting Set CD's and what they do in the whole installation process. But, i am not sure about the Update CD:confused: I don't see any reference to this in any of the installation manuals. Nor there is any document inside the Update CD, which explains what it does.

Any explanation on this would be highly helpful.

License the server
Configure tools
Configure application
Stop the environment
Install the Porting Set

Import patch 102500std.dmp into 7.1 a (software import patch)
Import patch 105206std.dmp (I think this is the stnd vrc)

If I am correct, you can only create a new baan environment with a master cd, the update does only an update of the existing ones.

On NT the master cd is the only one that creates the services and entries in the registry.
