This is somewhat discouraging. Two in three sessions
cause the BW messages window to display the next
message:

Fatal error : ottadv2500 is expired
Can not continue in ottadv2500 (unknown)

This is a licensing issue.

I believe that your tools development licence has expired.

Check sessions ttiex3500m000 and ttiex3501m000 for the expiry dates.

The only way I believe to solve this problem is via a combination of your account manager and support as license fees maybe owing.

ttiex3500m000 "Display Requested System Configuration"
shows there's a t103 development tools license runable
until 15-03-2001 while ttiex3501m000 "Display Requested
System Configuration (Tools)" shows a t031 x-windows
user interface for 10 users and t063 for MSQL server 7.
Seems everything allright ?

If the expiry date is 15-03-2001 then surely we are past that now ?

Good morning Neal. Date formats are tricky, aren't they ?
I think this should not be the problem since license t103
is runable from: 20-12-2001 until: 15-03-2002. That 20
offers no doubt but if it hadn't appeared I'd surely have
asked myself the same. Thanks again.

I executed session ttiex3225m000 "Configure Application" to
patch all objects and everything got fixed. I'm not sure if I
should run some more session but I'll leave events evolve
and act accordingly. Thanks for your support.

The help in the knowledgebase on ttiex3225m000 says the following;

SESSION OBJECTIVE
To configure the requested application. Objects which belong to the requested application, will be patched with the customer and license code. From BAAN 4 b, only tools objects need to be patched. Application objects are patched during installation.
IMPORTANT You can only run this session after validating the tools set in Validate Tools Set (ttiex3220m000).

So if it's all ok now I'd leave well alone. I still have this problem but I am now awaiting a license renewal from Baan.
