Hi,
I define a device "e":
Device Type=Rewrite file,
4GL Program=ttstpconv,
Argument=ASCII:Notepad.exe
but when I print a report and choice device "e",the system prompt "Conversion to ASCII:notepad.exe is not supported yet".
Environment:
Windows NT4.0,BaaN Ivc4 without any patches.
Why?

Hi,
Which version of BWC file are you using?
Which version of Portingset?
Does the device: Word or Excel work well?

Hi,
please have a look to solution 81543. This solution is a description which arguments can be used by ttstpconv.
This works on my W98 client
Argument : ASCII:c:\windows\notepad.exe
Path : /tmp/baan.out

Hi,
According to me it does not work with your BWCversion 45.
About the version 57, i am not sure, if it does work (I think it should work).
Just like OmeLuuk told, try the newest BWC.
Be aware of your portingset.
