As posted on Baan Support website, i am sure must of us have already encountered the problem with the negative document numbers in the tfgld018 tables. To fix it we are waiting for a new portinset that includes update Oracle client libraries that should get rid of the original Oracle bug.

Anyone any news on the release data of this portingset?

From feedback regarding a Baan case logegd for new report functionality/upgrade of portigset to 6.1c.06.01, the new portingset should be released in one/two weeks time (at least for HP-UX that is suffering from problems related with a tccomdll0200 library and the 6.1c.06.01).

The 6.1c.06.02 is available on the Baan Support ftp server since the beginning of August. But this portingset does not use the corrected Oracle library.
The Oracle bug #75545 problem does not occur on HP-UX platforms.

We have several customers all running HP-UX v10.20/11.00 (>10 installations) and they *all* suffer from the bug.

That's what Baan Global Support says. The error "negative document number" can also occur due to other reasons (they say). ?????????
