I guess if you could run ttstpcreatdll and have it work then the stpapi commands would work in 4b2. Try running the session(if available), then pick a simple session, see if the library is generated and compiled. If ttstpcreatdll does not work then I do not have a clue - we started on 4c3 and still remain there.

Good Luck!

Sorry I wasn't much help. You could also just try adding #pragma used dll ottstpapihand at the start of any script to see if it compiled. Or just look for the ottstpapihand object. If you do not find it I would call Baan and ask them. I do not know what release it first came with.

Sorry I am not much help, but those are the only things I can think of to check.

As far as I know the stpapi is not implemented in the Baan IV b2 tools, however you can easily check if the object for ttstpapihand is present (normally in $BSE/tools/<version>/ottstp). If the object ostpapihand is not present it will not work.

Another possibility would be running the Baan IV c4 tools on your Baan IV b environment. As far as I know this should be possible. We have a customer with Baan IV b doing this.

Hope this helps...
