Hi Board,
In the sizing guide for the BaaN IVc4, there are a number of servers available like the compaq servers, IBM Netfinity Servers, Alpha based Servers, etc.
Now which Servers are best for running SQL 2000 as database as there is no mention of SQL 2000 only SQL 7. The No. of Concurrent users present are around 25 and the BRU is around 150. Plus the batch process of MRP and MPS.

Now in such a case, what is the best option of server to go for.

I have the same problems with creating a right configuration of server with software BaanIV, Win2k and SQL2k.
But as my experience is telling me that this kind of configuration requires at least two CPU units (one for batches and one for users) and at least 1 GB of RAM.
The configuration of disks (RAID1 -and, or- RAID5) depends on security and the size of existent data.
The lates info about IBM servers I could propose xSeries 255 or HP ProLiant ...but nothing specific!

On pbc.baan.com there are some documents about the sizing but I have no idea how updated they are.
