Does anyone know how to bring a record in Crystal reports from detail to where ever you want (levels below) and use it there.?

Can you please be a bit more specific?

I normally create a report with all levels shown. If all looks fine I start hiding sections.

Crystal brings records based on one select and in grouping it does for all those records it brings(or if u have some conditions for those).

Say I want a set of records in detail to be summed up and later used in some other group, (without hard coding) yet in detail printing all the records of main select, how do u go about it.
