Hi,
This is a iON question.
Can iON be used purely as a middleware . For example
Oracle ---> iON --> SAP
Based on the current iON architecture, do you think it has to have one of the Infor product on one end ?

ION can be used as middleware for OAGIS compliant softwares (Thats the theory, how it is being advertised). Oracle for instanse is OAGIS compliant but SAP is not OAGIS compliant to my understanding. Hence it wont be work out of the box, unless enough time is spent to make the required conversions.

Hi,
ION has XSLT support with which the transformations are possible. About OAGIS support, I belive SAP has an OAGIS adaptor for integrations.
Although, ION's full fledged use is only possible with Infor Apps around in terms of bidirectional realtime flow including response handling etc.
