Does anybody implemented Business vault and can provide what overhead it adds to the transactional system? We are trying to determine what could be the best fit either ION or CDC mechanism.

Business Vault itself does not add overhead to the ERP system.
The 'overhead' comes from publishing BODs. So the question raised is, What is the overhead for BOD publishing from ERP LN?
