Hi

I have created AFS of the session tisfc0101s000 (Production Orders).

DAL is active for the main table (tisfc001 - Production Order). In dal certain checks are present, dal not allow creating production order for Generic Item.

I want to skip the dal check to create production order for Generic Items through customized session only. I don't want to modify the dal.

Pls. help me out with the possible solutions.

Production orders for GENERIC items should never exist, and for very good reasons. Either an item is standard (you use it multiple times) or customized (you use it once). There might be things in between where Baan has no good solution. But a production order for a TEMPLATE (and nothing else is a generic item) does never make sense, in any environment. So something's certainly flawed in your business process mapping or in the design of the customization you're trying to do. Do that customizatio and I guarantee a 100% chance of severely breaking the system in other areas (receipt, stock, planning, etc.)
