Funny - two birds with one stone. :) See this recent in this forum (http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?t=59849). In this example I run the report to ascif and set the spool.fileout variable. So spool.fileout is the answer to your question. At the same time on occasions we have had issues with spool.fileout (global variable) - but generally opening a session running a report to disk and then closing it always seems to work.
