I am getting a message as follows:
Function "do.handle.bms";Recursion not possible refcount=2.
Can not continue in ottgbfprocessin DLL:ottgbfsrvlib (do.handle.bms)[last function:next.event]
Recursion not yet implemented

This happens when I have processes opened (ottgbfprocess) for sure and in some other random cases. Any idea why?

Sounds like a bug in GBF, which is used for the Processes window. If you haven't done so yet, I suggest you update to the latest 'standard program' Tools solution, and try again.
