Can someone help me out with a Crystal Question.

Here is my dilemma.

How do I link table tfgld410 to another table that will also list item groups.

If you're using Baan IVc:

If the item is a standard item, and not a custom item, then you can get there by linking TFGLD410.item to TIITM001.item (Item Master). From the there you can use the TIITM001.citg (Item Group) field which can be linked to TCMCS023.citg (Item Groups) for more info if needed.
If it is a custom item then the only way you could tell, from this table, is if the project field (TFGLD410.cprj) is populated.

What I am having trouble with is the linking expert.

How to use it.

I have linked item from tfgld410 to item from tiitm001.

Then I am not sure what to do?

In my report I used fields from 410 but now I want the Item group field from 001.

If you have linked the tiitm001 table to the tfgld410 table you can use any field of those tables by simply use the insert menu.

When I drag the item from tiitm001, then preview the report comes up blank.

Are you using the Baan/Crystal driver? If you do, then did you log on to a logistical company that can also access the financial company. Keep in mind that all the table descriptions exist for for any company you log onto. That doesn't mean that the table is pointing to the right company. it could also be that the item field in tfgld410 is empty, did you check that? If it is you need to define a left outer join. You can change the link by right click on the join.
