hi all,

i have written an AFS for updating data from customised table to a standard session.it updating correctly but AFS session is getting hanged when closing the sessions.i have used stpapi.end.session("tdpur4101m000") command for closing the session.

Can any body help me.

Did you check the "error vaiable" that is returen from some of the stpapi functions?

i have given the message before and after of stpapi.end.session command.message of before stpapi.end.session is coming but after not coming and getting hanged

Have you checked the processes that are running? There could be another session running in the background that needs to be ended first.

okey you right but when we are closing the purchase order lines and purchase order, only we close tdpur4102s000 and tdpur4101m000.so according to the concept of AFS we need close the above two session only.

Yes - I think so. I do recall in one situation where I did not need to end a sub-session. I think it was I started tdpur4101m000, activated the lines tdpur4107s000 and tdpur4503s000 - and if I remember correctly if I tried to use and stpapi.end.session on 4503s000 it would hang. I had this happen in several places when we did a service pack. So sometimes you just have to play with options until you hit the correct one.
