Hi Friends,
Just I want to know whether baan4 suits to Paper industry(Tissues,Kitchen towel mfg). And also anybody is using in and around UK.

Well! My colleague have studied applying the Baan4 Process Module to paper industry; his conclusion is not so useful.
Indeed, I dont think any ERP solution "very" fit to paper industry.
One big function in Baan Process is FORMULA (similar to BOM in discrete manufacturing), which can calcute matierial usage by percentage and supports co-products.
I dont find other critical logically different from Baan Manufacturing.

BaanIV Process module is could be used, but more suitable would be the Baan Dimensions vertical for the paper industry.
BaanIV Process is more suitable for the chemical or food industrie.
BaanIV Process works with the Constraint Planning module instead of the MPS module. This makes it possible to plan against finite capacity.
You can use formula's instead of the standard BOM's with coproducts and byproducts,etc.
