Hi,

I am supposed to create a windows service that will be connected to WMS (not BaaN) database and will periodically call BaaN sessions depending on data inserted into WMS tables.
Since that I've got question: is it possible to use BaaN OLE in windows service application? If not what are the other options to inform BaaN about events occured in WMS. This must be non-gui solution working in background as windows service. The solution should require no or minimum coding in BaaN.
The service will be developed in C# .Net.

Please, does anybody know if there are any technical obstacles for using Baan OLE in Windows Service (like GUI dialogs displayed from OLE etc) that make it not possible to implement/develop.

I can not answer your question, but there have been several posts in this forum for C#. Have you searched this forum? Does this thread (http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?t=23253) help?
