To identify the server you dont have to change the color of the menu.

Refer to the thread - Background info for bshell options (BaanIV) (http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?t=95&highlight=hostname)

You can use the following option -
-set BAAN_WIN_TITLE=”BaaN-ERP-Series” would show the string “BaaN-ERP-Series” in the title of all Baan sessions.

Furthermore, there are some predefined strings that can be used in the window title string. They are:

%C Company Name
%c Company Number
%h Host Name
%p Package Combination
%S Session Name
%s Session Code
%u Userid

You can change menu icon, just import any bitmap or gif file in $BSE/gif/browser.gif and then change Menu Normal Icon in ttdsk3101m000 (Maintain Menu Browser Default)

Similarly, different manu icon for different server.

Just try & revert back. In my case, its working fine.
