We are trying to use AFS to create Outbound Lines in session whinh2120s000, but we have one problem with whinh220.item value.

If we use stpapi.put.field("whinh2120s000","whinh220.item","xxxx") to put value xxxx, this value arrives to session whinh2120s000 at the statement before program, but then it loses its value afterwards.

We also tried export and import a variable, but also do not work.

Can some one tell us what we are doing wrong?

In Baan V I think this might be a segmented field. Search this forum and see if you can find an example. If not let me know and I will search.

Try the following:

stpapi.put.field( "whinh2120s000", "tcibd001.item.segment.1", "") | Item Project Segment
stpapi.put.field( "whinh2120s000", "tcibd001.item.segment.2", in.Item.code) | Item Segment

Yours answers hit the mark. I have changed the AFS to use segmented field and now it works correctly.
