I have some problems of using device data with crystal enterprise.
version : Baan ERP 5.oc SP 7 updated
BW version : 7.1.c.02.142
porting set : 7.1
O/S : windows NT SP 6 build 1381

Device Data(ttaad3100s000)
- Device : Crystal
- Device type : rewrite file
- locale : wansung_win32
- check "intermediate file in xml format"
- 4gl program : ttstpconv
- argument : xml port=7688 server=bscknt01
- path : c:/temp/test.xml
- check "change output file allowed"

When I print ;
device = crystal

I got the below error message.
1. process 13 : fatal error : error 512(corrupted data dictionary)
on ttaad321000 in db_insert.
2. process 13 : can not continue in ttstpsplopen () [retry.point]
3. process 13 : ttstpsplopen : A not terminated transaction is
aborted.

When I insert a new report template(ttaad3530m000),
I have error messages :
1. Error : Read row error 512 on ttaad330000 (error 512)
2. Fatal error : Error 512 (corrupted data dictionary) on select
3. Fatal error : Can not continue in ttaad3530m000 in Dll
ottstpstandard () [retry.point]

If you have same problem or good way to recover it,
help me please.

Your error has nothing to do with Crystal. The error means that your table definition doesn't match with the actual definition.

First step: create tools datadictionary.

The second step I would do is run a create datadictionary with the option reconfige tables again.

If that doesn't help we have to investigate a little further.

!!! I created table after deleting the table ttaad330000.
I have another question.

I am using AS400 and Baan ERP 5.0c.
I added the new device of crystal. While printing rewrite file, I got the error message below :

Error 401 (A configuration file is corrupt) on ttaad321000 in db_insert
Can not continue in ttstpsplopen () [retry.point]
----------------------------(2)----------------------------------------
While copying templates, I met "error -5 while copying templates from server".
I have 5 templates in the "standard templates" of "Baan Integrated reports".

I am in hard time solving this problem.

I am not aware that BaaN had an office in Korea, I never had any interaction with that site.

I guess you are still working in BaaN so its easy for you to seek help from the BaaN Tech (Tools) guys from NL. You might get a quicker solution from them.
