I performed some tests with this solution and was wondering if I do something wrong.
In order to be able to push a report to CE I need to compile my reports again. Probably because of some XML generating issue. However I can't compile the reports in the standard VRC so I end up with tons of objects in our own VRCs which will cause issues if I receive a new report due to a solution.
You need to use the print preview option, after its shown on the screen you can print. Is there a way to print to CE which goes directly to your printer without having to preview it?
Kind regards,

Hello Han and all,
We have exactly the same problem. We would like to print directly from Baan to a printer, without viewing them with the crystal viewer. We have customized some baan reports (invoices) with Crystal Enterprise, but the users don't want to 'preview' their reports in the Crystal Viewer before sending them to their printer.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Regards.

Han,

Jaring,
Are you referring to my problem that you can't print directly but have to preview the report?

Good morning,
I'd love to understand you Transforce, but I can't ...
I've tried this and it seems to work correctly, although it's not very flexible:
In the "Print configuration" of the report instance in the Crystal Enterprise Folder Management, I specified a printer name (\\server\printer). When I print from Baan, I don't choose the "overview" field in the device form.
The drawback is that the printer is linked to the report, and not to the user. But it's better than nothing... for the moment.
Thank you for your help Han. And I'm still looking for improvements! ;)
Best regards.
