We have some code in MS Access that opens up BaaN using the OLE object and grabs specific fields to use. It works great, the only problem is that it opens up a new instance of BaaN IV, even if the user already has it opened. My question is, how can we grab these fields using the existing instance of BaaN if available, otherwise open up a new copy. Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer.

Search this forum - there have been several posts about this. I never could get this to work correctly, so I always used two instances. I no longer use OLE for anything, so I quit trying.
