I wanted to know, How we can activate baan from excell sheet and to upload data into baan and get data from baan.Is there any common procedure for it.


Please provide me the information.

Hello Soumendra

You should see an example in the Baan client installation directory.
For example, my IVc client is installed in "C:\Program Files\BaanIV" and in there you'll have bin, help, lib, log, samples, tmp, etc
Check out the baan.xls in the 'samples' directory. It is in VBA in excel macros.

Also, if you have OpenWorld installed, you may have some other options.

Moving this to correct forum. Just search this forum(AFS/DDC/OLE: Function servers ) and you should find other post and examples. You can search for OLE/EXCEL, not sure if VB will work.
