Hi together,

I try to use the performance booster for the session cprrp1210m000. But I face most of the time the problem, that I get the error message, "user unknown, or bad password" when the parallel bshells want to login.
If I look in the event log, I found (sometimes) the error message, that the user, then an invalid user name and domain is shown, can't login.
Some times it works. But so we can't work. Our System combination is Baan 5c, Win2000 and SQL-Server 2000. Has anybody may an idea what is going wrong?
Many Thanks in advance.

Did you use the save password option in the user configuration file?
When a separate bshell is started the passwrod should be known.

Hi Jan,

I saved the password in the BECS configuration. When I start the job not as multiple bshell, then it works properly. If I activate the multiple bhell option, then the session itself is started after that it tries to start the other sessions and then most of the time the error occurs, that they can't login.

I assume you also set the configuration as default in the BECS for that particular job user?

What happens when you run it not as job but as normal user?

Kind regards,
Dick

We face the same problems, if we start this not by job but in dialog modus. At the moment we changed the protocol from BaanLogin to rexec. I looks like this will solve the problem. But we have to test it a few days, to be sure that the protocol causes the problem

Kind regards
