I have to implement process for an oil industry from scratch.I have worked a lot in manufacturing, but process I know works similarly.

I need documents for BaanIV process module.and vluable tips.

Hi baanprog,

Baan can be implemented in Oil Industry also, I don't see any major problems in mapping. Instead of Production orders, here you can use the production batches and no major changes required in rest of the functionality like BOM, Routing, MRP planned orders, sfc orders, purchase, sales and finance.

Pls go through the BaaN Process Document, currently I don't have this doc.

I have implemented Process in Baan IV c4 in three chemical industries (all in the same sector).

I have no documents about Process in English but I can help you if you have some problem.

Please have another look at whether Baan can support OIL Industry, I have my doubts.

Baan is very much suitable for chemical, food etc but Oil industry I doubt becoz OIL industry S/W package need to have functionalties like Upstream Operations, Downstream Operations, Service Station and Retailing etc.
