I tried to append records from SQL to Informix which is controlled by Baan. It failed. When I look into the table, two extra field are found: hash1 and hash2. It is said that they are used to be index by Baan. These two fields cannot be NULL. I don't know the rule of these two fields. Or any method to get rid of these two fields.(and keep it working) So I cannot append any record from SQL. (Revise any records from SQL is no problem.)

Can any Baan guru help me out? Thanks a million!

ps.when I install Baan, I use default setting.....let Baan to control Informix.....

Please take a look at Level 1 indexing (http://www.baanboard.com/baanboard/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10246).

This thread explains you in more detail what happens when having a default Level 1 database.

Hope this helps,
