Hi All,
I am trying to maintain a period as
Fiscal year 2002
Start Date
01-01-02
01-04-02
01-07-02
01-10-02
End date 31-12-02
it gives the message "Expiry/End date not allowed".
Can anyone help me.
Thanks

Hi Abhivyakti,
thats strange, because if you have set the field "Periods for Periodic Maintenance" in Session "Maintain Installation Control Parameters" for your example to the value 4 it must work.
This small (old) program has no modifications in the last years, means that no problems exists in the past.

Did you enter the dates in the subsession (via specific in session tfgld0105m000)?

Hi Abhivyakti,
Have you been able to define periods for other fiscal years?
Did you change the parameter "Number per Year" in tssma1100m000 (Maintain Installation Control Parameters)?
I agree with Juergen that if this parameter is set to 4 you should be okay.
Regards,
Edwin

Hi Juergen & Edwin,
Yes! I have changed the parameter "Number per Year" to 4 from 52. And also I have tried this for different fiscal year but the problem still persists.

I might be suggesting something a bit too simple but...
is the date format required by your system different to how you are entering it. Just the end date is the only one containing a mm or dd greater than 12.
e.g. you are entering 31-12-02 (dd-mm-yy) when the system may be looking for mm-dd-yy say.,..
