We are running BaaN 5.0b w/Vertex. Question is...

In session tssoc2541m000: Service Order Actual Other Costs, when using a "Cost Type" of "Other Costs," how does Vertex map to the Service Type?

Is it possible with Vertex to add an addissional condition to map this Cost Type by "Cost Component?"

If I were you I would also post a similar question in our Finance forum since many of our volunteers specialized in Finance are also very familiar with Vertex and BAAN V.

in 5.0b, the 'Service Type' comes from the activity that the cost line is linked to. this is true for material costs, labor costs, and other costs.

i've been told that 5.0c supports vertex mapping at the cost component level.
