I am trying to trigger the installments based on the phys progress and milestone for a contract with type Fixed price and progress invoicing.

My requirement is to generate installment automatically once the activity and/or milestone is reached.

request your guidance.. how can an installment be triggered once the activity and/or milestone is completed.

Assuming you have linked the activity or milestone as triggering activity, run the session Generate Installments (ttpin4251m00) with the relevant flags set. Possibly even in a job to check regularly.
