When I tried to receive the material on maintenance sales order (part maintenance) system gave me error as " Order type for which availability type was defined cannot be linked to work orer". In this case, i removed the availability type from Order types. But in that case, system gave me error during insertion of MSO. The error is "order type for which availability type is defined cannot be used in MSO"

Kapil, do you have a calendar linked to your availability type? and does that calendar have available days for the dates in your MSO?

You can specify the availability type against the order type, if not it will be taken from general service parameters.

Yes, Availability type is with calendar. Also in parameters, availability type is maintained.

When i leave availability type blank in order type, it is not picking up from parameters.
